Many people ask "Where do you go to church?"

I don't "go" to church. I am the church. Church is about relationship... with Jesus AND with his believers.

images/stories/kenn2.jpgChurch isn't about a building. It isn't about a large gathering listening to one person and never knowing or loving the person sitting next to them.

Church is you. Church is your christian friends. Church is about a people who love Jesus who fellowship together, worship together, pray together, who live their lives daily for Jesus and his family.

In the New Testament the people met daily. They were a part of each others lives. They were there for each other when help was needed. They shared resources and they shared each others lives.

They would gather together to eat, fellowship and talk about Jesus on a daily basis. They didn't express their walk with Christ once a week but day after day they would talk about Jesus. Day after day there were excited about what was happening. The Son of God had walked among them in the flesh and now lived in their hearts. Children grew up in homes where talk of the day was Jesus, where at night their friends would come over and bring food and their parents would talk excitedly about Jesus and what they had thought about him that day.

Apostles, Prophets and Teachers sat with them around their tables as Jesus had with his disciples, sharing revelation, giving help and showing by example how to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

Sometimes they would worship, sometimes they would pray, sometimes they would ask an elder to teach. Life was exciting, vibrant and enthusiasm was a natural by-product of a people who knew Jesus was working in their lives every day by the word of their testimony.

Some inherent Christians go to a church building each Sunday, some meet in small groups, some dont... but one thing is sure they believe they are the church. Walking with Jesus is a daily exercise. It involves relationships, friendships and a commitment to the body that is outworked every day.

This is great - Its not about where I go to Church, we are the church so church happens wherever we go.

Finally, hallelujah!! Someone with GUTS (Godly Unction To Speak) the truth - it's time to break down the walls of hindrance (denomination) and for the Body of Christ to BE the Body of Christ, fellowshipping one with another freely every moment of every day without persecution, prejudice, pride or malice. I've been pastoring within the walls for too long and like any prisoner I needed a BREAKOUT!! God led me to it and it's great to see that others are breaking out as well. Thanks Kenn & Lee
