images/stories/kenn 1.jpgPut simply...

A church for people who don't necessarily "go" to church.

Inherently Contagious Christians living their lives at work, home, and play. People who Love Jesus, who worship together, pray together, and fellowship together, and share Jesus not only as part of a ritual but as part of their daily lives in the community at large.

Existing inside them is a permanent and inseparable element, quality, or attribute, a part of Jesus Himself that sets them apart. They love being with like minded people and love telling others about their LORD and Saviour.

Church - ekklisia

From the Greek word ekklisia itself from two words ek (Out from) and kaleo (To call.)

Strongs concordance gives this description.  (Note highlighted!)

1) a gathering of citizens called out from their homes into some public place, an assembly

  • an assembly of the people convened at the public place of the council for the purpose of deliberating
  • the assembly of the Israelites
  • any gathering or throng of men assembled by chance, tumultuously
  • in a Christian sense
  1. an assembly of Christians gathered for worship in a religious meeting
  2. a company of Christian, or of those who, hoping for eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, observe their own religious rites, hold their own religious meetings, and manage their own affairs, according to regulations prescribed for the body for order's sake
  3.  those who anywhere, in a city, village, constitute such a company and are united into one body
  4. the whole body of Christians scattered throughout the earth
  5. the assembly of faithful Christians already dead and received into heaven

We could therefore come to a description of The inherent Christian as this...

A  person who has a permant and inseparable element of Jesus Christ deep in their hearts, a person who believes in his teachings, exhibits a spirit proper to a follower of Jesus Christ, and who assembles together with other Christians united in one body.
