Luke 4:18 (NIV)
"The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed".

There are so many different interpretations of Jesus in the world today but there is only one Christ. We see Him on different levels but sometimes when people are talking about Christ I wonder what Christ they are talking about.

I do not know what ever possesses a person to even think that Jesus would be the author of poverty when He came to destroy it. He said that He became poverty so that we through His poverty we might become rich. He said He became sickness that we through His sickness might be healed. He bore the stripes of the whip on His back. Lets enter into those promises He gave us and do it by faith.
